Overwhelmed

I'm finding that life is getting more and more complicated and the demands on my time are increasing. At times I am overwhelmed with the amount left undone on my to do list at the end of the day. Is anyone else in feeling like life is moving at warp speed and there is no way of getting off?

I don't know about you but I am trading my starship in for a jet plane and hope to trade that one soon for an air balloon.

Technology was supposed to free us, instead it has connected us to it all and we never have any more down time. Especially since the invention of the smart phone. Everyone knows that you get a ping when you get a message and if you don't respond within the hour, you are pinged again.

What are you doing about taking control of your life? Do you have a plan? If you are like most of us, you just bury your head once in awhile and then get right back on the merry go round. Think about how you could enjoy everyday more and make a plan for yourself.

Remember life is a journey, not a destination. The destination is death, why are you racing towards it?

Silence

Have any of you been drowning in all the rain falling lately. Rain puts a damper on all outdoor activities and takes the energy out of indoor ones.

I find this interesting as rain has such life giving properties. As much as we don't like rain, we need rain. Sunny days without rain would lead to drought and starvation. Sunshine needs rain to be truly appreciated.

Nevertheless, I'd rather bask in sunshine than dance in the rain. Sunshine warms my heart and lifts my spirit. Vitamin D is a more scientific way of explaining the mood lifting qualities of the sun.

Get out walk, hike, run or bike and enjoy the fall colours. Just remember to wear sunscreen and waterproof shoes and you'll be ready for anything. The great outdoors has many life enhancing properties, don't miss out, get out!

Enjoy the sunshine

Kids are back at school

My kids are all grown up and the youngest graduated this spring. Back to school no longer has the same meaning it did for many years. Yet as September arrives, my thoughts turn to organizing and starting new projects.

With the weather turning cooler, I start being more productive and more active. My runs are more frequent and my work schedule is fuller. I had a super summer, enjoyed lounging by the pool, but the pool is no longer calling out to me and I am happy to sit at my desk.

My thoughts have turned to planing what I want to accomplish over the next three months and where I want to be come the winter holidays. Where do you want to be? Do you have a plan of action to get you to your goals?

We are starting a new 30 day challenge right after Thanksgiving, are you ready to give it a try? Contact me and I'll help you get started.

Whatever your goals are, remember to create a plan and ask for help. Your success is all up you.

New Website

Last night Jen and I filmed a video for our new website coming in July. We had a great deal of fun even though the process was hot and exhausting.

I travelled to Windsor for the filming which in itself was great as I finally met many of our clients that Jen works with. What a lovely group of people she has the pleasure to coach. The whole experience was uplifting and very rewarding.

One client especially just discovered that she can now fit into her target outfit for the fall wedding she is attending. She is 2 months ahead of her schedule. The joy on her face was incredible and I felt amazing to experience this with her. It was so rewarding to see how her efforts and our coaching has made such a huge difference in her life.

What a great trip I had, Windsor is beautiful and seeing my daughter in her element with all her new friends and associates was wonderful. I look forward to visiting real soon again. I'm sure Chris, Jen's husband, can't wait to have his mother in law back again. :)

Summer is just around the corner - are you ready?

This week our LivferU Newsletter focuses on will power and our struggle with control. As summer is fast approaching and we are shedding our winter clothes, our thoughts move toward sunscreen and body fat (well, my thought do).

With the great weather come the pleasures of BBQ, patio and outdoor activities. My favourite is walking with my friends and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding woodlands. I went out this morning and took my daughter's dog Tucker, an energetic Border Collie Lab cross.

He ran free up and downs the hills, through the creeks, chasing squirrels with an equally energetic Jack Russell named Jelly. There was 11 of us out enjoying the Dundas Valley while we caught up on each others lives. The walk was energizing and contributed to my goals of lower body fat.

Although I find the exercise and companionships within the beauty of nature an inspiring way to start my day, every morning it is a struggle to force myself out of bed. Having a busy life and working late, it takes a great deal of willpower to get me out there. I don't always manage it, but when I do I am thrilled and the memory keeps me coming back.

February

2010 is well under way, it is the 1st day of the 2nd month; only 11 months to go. How are you doing on your 2010 plans, are you 1/12th closer to getting to where you want to be?

It is only through diving your plans into small chunks and incremental goals, that will allow you to monitor and manage your goals. Getting to our ultimate goals is impossible if we do not divide it into 'bite size chunks'. This means that we have a 10 year goal, 5 year goal, 1 year goal, 1 month goal, 1 week goal, and all these are built on the daily goal.

You have to know what you need to do or change every day so that you can move forward and closer to your ultimate desires.

What are your goals for 2010 and what will you do in February that will drive your goals forward? What will you do today to make this week and month a major or minor leap forward?

Conference excitement

I am at the Isagenix Top Achievers conference in Phoenix Arizona with Jen. We are having an amazing time, what a wonderful city this is. The oranges and lemons hanging low on the trees and the flowers blooming everywhere, it is Eden and I have the fortune to dwell here for a few days.

We just spend an exciting afternoon learning about new product releases that will help our quest to help improve every one's health. I am happy to share with you that we now have a solution to help you with free radicals just by drinking water.

We have also discovered a great restaurant in town that serves the best bistro style food with Asian and Italian flare. But the best part of it is that it is organic and they focus on offering choices to vegetarian and vegan clients. They are also open to changing their recipes to accommodate food allergies.

This has been an exciting day and there are two more to go....

Website is Live

After a lot of hard work and help from many, our LivferU website is up and accessible by all. Check us out and learn about our services and how you can benefit. We are working hard gathering information on health and lifestyle, so that we can help to support your personal goals.

The last eight days have been exhausting and exhilarating all at the same time. Aside from getting our website and Newsletter up, I have been speaking with many of you, helping you get started on your personal journey towards better health.

My personal goals include getting out to the gym more often and I'm happy to report that my visits have increased. My body is tender but very happy.

Yesterday my husband and I celebrated his birthday, we had a lovely evening with good food, wine and I did not overindulge. In the morning I was at the gym for my workout with weights. The day was so beautiful, we took the boys - our dogs - for a nice long walk and enjoyed the wonderful nature that surrounds us.

The race is under way

The last 3 days have been amazing. The work is moving along, our first LivferU Newsletter is out, if you have not received it, check it out in the archives. The response to it has been great, the phone was ringing off the hook yesterday and I could not keep up with the emails.

It seems everyone has had a wonderful time, full of family and many treats. A good friend said it was the season of 'great too much' and it is time to start cleansing. Personally, because of my crazy schedule, I have been doing 2 shakes a day since 2nd of January. This morning for the first time I woke up feeling full of energy and ready to tackle another busy day.

I look forward to seeing your personal goals in our discussion forum, this is your year to shine.

WOW!! It is great to be back

Happy New Year

It is already January 2nd and 2010 is just getting under way. Are you ready for what is coming in your life? If yes, then just lie back and enjoy the ride. If you are like the rest of us, it has just hit you that Monday is time to get back to work and you have much to do before the alarm goes off.

I thought I would get a jump on the workweek by starting today and I am very pleased that I did. The amount of work I managed to accomplish, and it is only 4pm, because the phone is not ringing off the hook, is impressive.

Do you have any New Year's resolutions that you are planning to implement on Monday? Mine is to continue sharing time with good friends, to get my body into shape and spend more time with my camera. This means that I must set aside couple of hours each day to myself. I neglected my personal time in 2009 due to work. Upon reflection I realized that if I am to stay productive I must not neglect what is important to me personally.

I will share with you some of my favourite shots over the coming year.

I wish you all a year of good health, joy and prosperity.
